Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Klaus Klay, each piece is handmade with care and intention — which means no two items are exactly alike. We hope you love your ceramic companion as much as we loved creating it.

Returns

Due to the nature of our small-batch, handcrafted process, we unfortunately do not accept returns unless:

  • The item arrived damaged, or

  • There is a legitimate issue with the product that warrants a return (e.g. incorrect item sent, or a fault beyond the expected handmade imperfections).

If your item qualifies for a return, please notify us within 5 days of receiving your order by emailing us at klausklayceramics@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item (and packaging, if damaged in transit)

We will assess the case and work with you to resolve it — whether through a replacement, credit, or refund.


Please note:

  • All items are individually handmade, and slight variations in shape, texture, or glaze are part of their charm — not considered defects.

  • Custom orders and workshop bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or agreed upon.

  • Return shipping (if approved) is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrectly sent.
