Welcome to Klaus Klay. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules and conditions for using our website and purchasing our products and services. By using our site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Klaus Klay is a South African-based business offering handcrafted ceramics and creative workshops. Each item is made with care and may vary slightly in shape, size, or glaze due to the handmade nature of our work.
2. Product Information
We strive to accurately describe all products through images and text. Please note that slight variations in appearance are part of the charm of handmade ceramics and do not qualify as defects.
3. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time. Payment is required in full at checkout.
4. Shipping
We ship within South Africa. Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or external factors.
5. Returns & Refunds
We do not accept returns unless an item arrives damaged or there is a valid reason for return (such as a mistake with your order). If this happens, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your item at klausklayceramics@gmail.com, including your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
Custom orders and workshop bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon. For full details, please see our Returns Policy.
6. Workshop Bookings
Workshop bookings are non-refundable and must be used before the end of 2026. Workshop dates are limited and confirmed approximately 4 weeks before each new cycle (which begins roughly every 7–8 weeks). Bookings are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops if necessary.
7. Intellectual Property
All images, product designs, content, and branding on this website are the property of Klaus Klay and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through this site is used only to fulfill orders or communicate with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more.
9. Limitation of Liability
Klaus Klay is not liable for any damage or injury caused by the misuse of our products. We are not responsible for website errors, service interruptions, or delays caused by third parties.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
